The Alexa Code PART I : What are Alexa rankings, how do they work? Digg vs HD-DVD Most Digged in the last 1 year!

Hi,
The Indian Government is at a near-impossible task. Making a laptop for $10, and giving it to the children, under the One Laptop Per Child scheme. Reportedly, the manufacturing cost of a low cost laptop has reduced to a mere $47, and can be reduced further.

This is an initiative by the world’s largest IT employee supplier to begin tech education at a younger age.

Lets hope that this aim achieves fruition soon and make our country truly computer literate.

Well .. someone tried coming up with a $100 laptop, but i think it ended up costing something like $170. $10 seems a tad impossible to me

I don’t think it will work either; a goodly idea but financially impractical I think
