Hi all,
There have been rumours that the much awaited book “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, the 7th edition of the famed Harry Potter series, by J K Rowling, has been leaked 100 days before its release. I got a copy of this “leaked” book the very first day it was said to have leaked.
Dont get me wrong. I dont think the book has been leaked. I read through the PDF file, and it seems like absolute rubbish to me. Anyway, I’m posting(scroll down a bit) it for download for anyone who might be interested…

I got this from an email forward, AND the language its been written with, and the plot, does not seem to be the “real Rowling stuff”. It’s fake… here is the link ( http://www.phoenixsong.net/fanfiction/story/3517/ )from where it has come. More real stuff seems to be at forums of IGN site where a man purporting to be an insider is revealing tidbits from 7th book.

Hey Mohan and the others..
well i happened to lay my hands on the so called “leaked” copy of HP7.. now truth be told, i dont know if its fake or real… i want to believe its realy cause i am like a die hard HP fan and cant wait to read the 7th… on the other hand with all the postings on various blogs and sites about how the copy is a leaked one i dont know what to believe… i dont want to be a spoilt sport… i dont mind waiting till 21st July to get the real copy… and yes the story is the leaked version is a little too sensous to be a ‘Children’s book’ (one of the many things noticably different).. but has JKR really made any statement confirming that the copy doing rounds is actually fake?? If she has then we can all really move forward.. if she hasnt then how can we ask her to??

Actually Vijay, its got nothing to do with my sentiments. I know you didnt call ME all that. I’ll give you 3 good reasons why I hate swear words on my site -
1) My search engine rankings go down
2) The standard of the blog goes down. Its frequented my many people, from India and abroad, from students to techies to investors… Its a wide range blog… So…
3) I dont like the attitude of swearing to ascertain stuff.

Here is the original fan site this work is published on. This author has many other pieces listed on the site. Author puts disclaimer at start of each and every chapter to let people know this is purely for entertainment and in no way meant to infringe on JKR’s intellectual property. Some people get a kick of watching all the fans run out to dl the next leaked version. Anyway, here it is:

hey, i read that leaked copy and it definitly has flaws in it. at some points it doesnt follow storyline, here’s an example
in the JKR chamber of secrets ron tells harry that he knows what muggles call garden gnomes( those small bearded statues people keep in their garden). however, in this leaked version ron asked what those were at pivet drive. dis guy obviously didnt do his homework.

Harry potter will be dead in HP7. The cover version of US relates to this. Also if “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” has to be destroyed all the “Horcrux” need to be eliminated. As per the information or the leads. Harry is one among them and he will sacrifice himself to ensure Lord Voldemort dies

The real book was released on bittorrent this morning. It is a digitally photographed copy of the book page by page. It is the real thing not a fan fic.
