Apr 04

Hey all,
Guess who the world’s oldest blogger is? Its a 107 year old grandma by the name Olive Riley! Living in Queensland, Australia, Olive Riley maintains her blog, which she calls a “blob”, named The Life of Riley.

Olive Riley says that she has seen a lot in her 107 years of life. She’s feeding her blog with notable and memorable events which she remembers from her century+7 year old life. Among the stories she’s shared are memories of the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (she was there), and stories of her time on a station near Muttaburra in the 1930s.

Its so nice and sweet to see these good grandmas blogging :) It keeps us young folk inspired and eager to see more to it! Cheerios Olive! And please do keep blogging :)

Oh, and I got the word from 2 sites simultaneously - ABC and BloggersBlog.

This is the second time I have tried to post a comment Mohan
well it is Australia versus Sri Lanka in the first Semi final so this game I think will be a hard fought one.
I actually stayed awake well kind of to see NZ beat South South Africa.
re the great Chinese Firewall I found a lot of blogs from blogspot were banned hmm yeah it made me think as well

    I see….

Well, I’m back and rooting for Auz now… I had hopes on SA, but now I’ve reversed my stand :P

  4. Mohan Says:

Well, I dont think much about Sri Lanka. Honestly, I feel that they’re not such a good team. They’re consistent, yes, but all their winnings are because of their opponents’ weaknesses, rather than their strengths.

  5. Mick Rogers Says:

Well I guess we are all entitled to our opinions naturally I will respect yours.
Hopefully you will be proved correct in tonight’s encounter as I reckon it is a full dress rehearsal of the Final so OZ to win right LOL.
I noticed Ireland messed up the Bangladeshi’s as well.
Another sleepless night looming up for me.
Tell me do you think it is too long this comp?

  6. Mohan Says:

Oh yes, EXTREMELY long! But people were out there sqabbling about how long the competition was, and talking against the addition of the minnows, and how India vs Bangladesh was going to be a laugh…. It certainly was a laugh… :(

Maybe they need to devise a better way? A knockout?
